Did you know you can rent a treehouse nearby? You can even zipline down to it!

I got tired of my back sweating from my backpack carrying my lock and other shit, so I went to nashbar.com and bought a cheap (~20$) seatpost rack and a bungie mesh (~5$) to hold my lock and backpack. Depending on how much room you have between your frame and seat, this might not work, but it did fine for me.
BONUS: no more back sweat!!! Also, nothing bounces around.
DOWNSIDE: it can take a 1-2 minutes to get everything bungied into place.

As for a quickrelease seatpost, you can get a kryptonite little cable to install in your seatpost and wrap through the frame (as I did). It might be easy to cut, but it keeps honest people honest.

PS. The other route is to buy a bike so tall that no one beside McD or myself could hop on it to steal it (knock on wood).

I'm thinking that anyone going should ride their bike there, and thus not have traffic problems. Driving would be blasphemous!

Looking around on the "best of", I came across this from Austin. I laughed. a lot.

Wow, that video (especially the punch line) just made my week! Hi-fuckin-larious! Thanks jave!
BTW, if I remember right, a portion of "The Dildo Diaries" appeared in Zach Scott's "Keepin' it Weird". If it's still playing, I recommend it. Even if you don't like the performance, you'll love the photos of Leslie on the wall!

I'm sure there was other stuff, but I have a short memory, and I've used up my yearly quota of blog submissions. Please pick up where I left off.
