2004 Nov 11 08:18 (#951.2355):Your trick of getting peole to read because of many comments worked. That is the only reason I read it. Though I did find it very cool.
2004 Nov 09 05:54 (#942.2294):Ok, I'm mad at you Natedogg for posting the mythbusters page. How am I supposed to get any work done now???
2004 Nov 04 07:13 (#926.2258):Apparently a petition is circulating now which is how I found out about it.
2004 Nov 03 08:40 (#919.2236):I don't think I can post a comment to even come close to those posted before but the one issue that hasn't been brought up is the gay marraige issue. People are so against this that in many places that was the number one issue, even more important than terrorism and the economy. 11 states have now passed laws banning gay marriage and many also will now not allow civil unions. I think that this is one issue where people voted for Bush despite job loss and the war in Iraq.
I have many friends who are gay and just plain do not understand people's fear of it. The national presbyterian church, of which I am a member, is even against gay marriage. This is a traditionally libral church. These are not the "bible beaters" that one might think. Why people think that other people getting married devalues their own marriage is beyond me. The number of straight people getting married is declining and they refuse to give this right to people who are ASKING to take what they don't want. There are tax incentives NOT to get married and still this group of people is BEGGING to be allowed to pay these taxes. I thought for a while that this becomming an issue was a good sign. It had gone from not even a possiblity to something I that people began recognizing. This is the way all change starts. I thought that this would go as interacial marriage did. It looks as though it will not.
I also don't understand why no one believes this is not a choice. It is not a chosen lifestyle it is how someone was born. It would be a much more clear cut issue if all homosexual people were born with a rainbow flag birthmark or something. Then no one could say it was a choice and this issue would viewed differently. It makes me sick that people feel it is ok to discriminate against a group because they feel the lifestyle was a choice. Many would be horrified at racial discrimination, but don't see that this is so similar.
2004 Oct 21 07:47 (#856.2065):The trick is to pick from shows that were only on one or two seasons. I also stumped it with Sister Kate from "Sister Kate". Terrible show, but it had Millie Vanillie as guest stars once and had Jason Preistly before 90210.
2004 Oct 21 06:59 (#856.2062):I stumped it!!! I guess I watch more bad TV than this guy. I thought of one of the kids, Libby, from Grace Under Fire. Never heard of it? Well neither had the computer!!!
2004 Oct 21 06:11 (#858.2059):There was a lesbian bar in philly named Sisters. I wonder which came first?
2004 Oct 12 10:54 (#807.1938):Ned should enter this. After the other night we all know what a fantastic Halo player he is. He might be able to make money playing video games, not just spend it.
2004 Oct 11 05:53 (#804.1908):I think I watched the 2003 championship on TV. It was really fun to watch, like the Westminster Kennel Club dog show.
2004 Sep 28 02:39 (#723.1708):Just letting everyone know that I would love to get in on this. I must warn you all that I like country music. Not bluegrass, but the kind they play on KVET and KASE. If anyone would like my not to participate because of this, I will refrain from subjecting you all to what ned feels is the worst music ever.
