And that just happened.

My favorite article in that magazine appeared either in the March or April issue: "Fresnel lenses - Best thing to happen to lighthouses since light!"

Other topics that didn't make the front page of this issue:
101 Tips to Keep Your Lighthouse from Rusting (that the pros DON'T want you to know)
Fog: Just an Enemy or Man's Greatest Enemy?
Lead-Based Lighthouse Paint: What You Need to Know to Keep Your Kids Safe
Japanese Firm Demonstrates New White-LED Lighthouse Beam
Foghorn Leghorn: A Positive Media Representation of Foghorns?

I also learned that habcous has a co-worker named Myron who has a framed, autographed pictures of G. Gordon Liddy leaning against a Corvette. The autograph says "Myron, you're one hell of a gunsmith!"

This story may only be topped by the fact that doncarlo went to a lot of trouble yesterday to digitize an old VHS tape of John "Varmint Hunters 500 Yard Club" Larroquette on the topic of rapid reloading for competitive shooting events.

That video, as I, doncarlo or any of its dozens of other viewers will tell you, has *way* less John Larroquette than the box implies.

This is fantastic work btw natedogg.

Interesting that they speculate the lighthouse might have moved [in parts] by rail, when, such a load would move almost more easily by ship, especially since the coast guard was moving it.

*shrug*
