When was the last time you sat down and watched an entire cartoon from the Bugs Bunny era? Might I suggest Chuck Jones' "The Dot and the Line: A Romance in Lower Mathematics" which was brought to you by this week's Ask the AV Club. If you start watching, you owe it to yourself to watch it all just for the moral of the story.
And...
If you want to see some surreal ass TV check out Thurston Moore interviewing (sort of?) Beck and Mike D on 120 Minutes (circa just before Mellow Gold and Ill Communication). Wow. Cool. That sounds great.
