4.5 lbs of meaty goodness. As I once told Carl, I am going to do this one day. The neat new feature is that because of their web camera, y'all can watch live as I try (in the VERY distant future). So if your bored today, keep checking back to see the great food athelets challenge the steak. Have a good breakfast!
Honestly, I would try but I have the CapTexTri the next day and I really don't want to be dying while doing my first Olympic Distance tri and dealing with what that steak will do to my system. I figured if I ever started training for an Ironman I would also begin training for the steak. I certainly am not up to the 72oz challenge right now.
However, if you have some tasty belly button lint and $50 I would be up to that challenge.
Happy heartattack! Well, at least it's beef and not chicken.
Let's try to get only vegetarians and beckto to comment on this thread.
I'll do my part!
I thought at one time, beckto was veg, no? From veg. to 72 ounces of meat in just three years.
I'll do my par...shit, i ruined it.
I was a veg. for three long months my junior year of college. I love meat. I gave in and I've never looked back. Yay meat!
Speakin' of: Carl's Jr. has a Beef with Jack.

"72-oz. top sirloin steak, a baked potato, salad, dinner roll and shrimp cocktail"
If I challenge you to eat a 56-oz steak, baked potato and salad at the BBQ this sunday, will I never be invited to your house again?
