Install privoxy on your school computers - or face the consequences.
Note that privoxy is well up to the task at hand, though it's clear a school would be well advised to have a less brain-dead form of content filtering in place. See also spyware analysis.
Another alternative to privoxy: figure out how computers work and how to turn them off.

Incompetent teacher that inhibits students' ability to learn, makes them hostile to knowedge, and susceptible to strawman arguments and hostile to anyone who attempts critical thinking = no consequences whatsoever.
