So I'm torn about Barack Obama. From the little I know, he seems promisingly suited to presidency but I worry about how much experience he has. However, reading this speech against the Iraq War from 2002 has really helped push me more into his camp. He's speaking in Austin on Feb 23d in the Gregory Gym -- come see him in person and judge for yourself.
Note that you have to give up an email address to get tickets; time to bust out the javelinasmomatyahoodotcom@gmail.com address.
Also, this is 5 short days after Fuck with Dre Day, so hopefully everybody's done celebratin' by then.
I am totally flying in from Taiwan just for this. I am completely in love with Obama. Maybe it's because he's tall, dark and handsome; maybe it's because he's so damned smart; maybe both. Regardless, I will be there with panties ready to toss. Email me if you want to grab lunch first.
thanks for the heads up flip.
Moved to Auditorium Shores, it seems.
Perhaps this will help you decide one way or another on Obama.

I, too have feelings of ambivolence toward Mr. Obama. I've almost been forced into his camp via process of elimination.
I guess I'm just paranoid after Clinton got elected as a pseudo-progressive and then proceeded to have his administration.
I wish Russ Feingold was running.
