Hack Coinstar to avoid the 9% surcharge I heard about this on the Diggnation podcast. Pretty simple if you don't mind looking silly/raising suspicion by fiddling with the cables.
There was a hack like this against the UT soda machines a while back. Buncha people got suspended/expelled if I recall, and they had to pay the money back.
whoa, people got suspended? I tried it once, just to see if it worked. Felt guilty about it though and decided it wasn't worth getting caught and publicly shamed. I always think about snagging free soda after hours from the unlocked case at the coffee stand upstairs but once again the consequences outweigh the benefits.
Habcous, I stopped listening to diggnation because those guys are complete morons when they discuss almost anything beyond digg.com. Has that started to get on your nerves too or is Alex's humor worth it? He's pretty friggin' funny just not well read in science or other subjects (ie, he's no flip). Just curious.
I haven't really listened to it very much yet, but I could certainly see that. At this point I find Kevin more tolerable than Alex. I think something about Alex's voice bugs me.
