Come, now, let's not forget the knees and knuckles. They deserve special bruising too.

  • You're not the first one to break a leg (and I don't mean in the theatrical sense)

    You can guess what happened next: We all got older, and Ultimate got more difficult. Separated shoulders, twisted ankles, knee surgeries, and back problems all started to add up. More things started clicking and crunching when we ran. Then lots of us started having kids. We’d been playing Ultimate five times a week, then suddenly we were going to soccer practice and ballet class instead. Of course when you don’t have the time to stay in shape, you find yourself getting roasted or injured or both when you play Ultimate.
    I like the graphic descriptions of crunching, myself.
