New Zealand's rugby team is the All-Blacks, for their black uniforms (and for playing as if they were 'all backs'). Their basketball team is, by extension, the Tall Blacks, and their hockey team is the Black Sticks. Well, when the NZ Badminton team decided to rename themselves correspondingly, international officials revolted but headline writers everywhere rejoiced. (NSFW language)
