hmmmm. The first country that comes to mind that meets the criteria of 1.)Islamic rule and 2.) facist might be Sudan. And we know our government won't stop the killing there. Nor even Iran has much trouble with "severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition," at least according to their liberal, educated, fairly westernized middle-class.
