whatcha think about this:
Bush and sympathetic moralizers are ok with the AIDS increase. after all, only those who have proven themselves weak and immoral will contract AIDS. if you are not a drug user, are a virgin, and only marry someone who has never had sex and is not a drug user, you cannot contract AIDS (though unfortunately, maybe some will contract it through blood transfusions).
tough luck folks. jesus saves, only through him will you find salvation, and AIDS is a sign of your not being saved. you clearly got what you deserve.
makes them rather immune to and scornful of "scientific evidence."
