We noticed police car in the right lane that had its lights on, was going maybe 40 miles per hour, and seemed not be making an effort to pull anyone over. We speculated that it forgot to turn off its lights, until mrbun looked in his rearview mirror and declared, "It's a police chase!" We turned around to see at least 20 cop cars, across all lanes of traffic, with their lights flashing in the distance. We didn't know what to do, so decided to follow the lead police car in the right lane, and eventually pull off to the side of the highway.

The swarm of cop cars appeared to be chasing an 18 wheeler, and shortly ahead of us, some cops ran across the road and threw something in its path (presumably something to pop the tires). As the big rig went past us, we saw this women looking out of the cab window at us.

The trunk didn't spin out or anything cool after hitting the road debris, but instead exited the highway and turned on to some other road, with all the cop cars still in tow.

While the experience hasn't changed mrbun's impression of Dallas, he was sucessfully able to convice me that it is cooler than Waco, because Waco doesn't have police chases.

* Let me ruin the joy that bunny will get from gloating and inform you that he beat everyone at some stupid "IQ" challege peg game at Cracker Barrel. Although one could argue that if you have gone to a Cracker Barrel enough times to practice the game then perhaps your IQ is not very high to begin with.
