Zefrank's The Show is the best weekday updated site that you're not watching. Today's show addresses the question: How can you be in the League of Awesomeness? Answer: document yourself making an earth sandwich (laying two slices of bread on opposite sides of the earth). He even provides an excellent tool to help you find places to make your opposite sandwich. Hint: as amazing to me as this is, the entire United States and Russia are opposite only ocean, while only Spain in all of Europe is opposite land (New Zealand, in fact). So it looks like your best bets are South America and China.
the terminology as far as I can tell after three weeks of watching:
-sports racers are the followers and commenters on zefrank's site
-hard chargers are the natural enemies of sports racers, as shown here
-the League of Awesomeness is the group all potential sports racers aspire to join
-if you send him a video of yourself doing your sports racer power move he might beknight you with a nickname
Honolulu is opposite the Kalahari desert in Botswana. Both places I'd love to go. I am willing to make the sandwich if someone donates $10000 to the Earth Sandwich fund.
I don't have the money, but I can donate some mustard.
Good question, NC. Ze doesn't blink because it causes his left nostril to dialate and that's just weird.
I choose to make a New Zealand-Spain sammich. Which would, I think, be lamb with roasted red peppers, then cut into uselessly small pieces, garnished with kiwi fruit, and served with a headbutt by a struggling actress with a trendy haircut.
Okay, so I'm completely hooked on this show.
Anyway, one of today's comments regarding an earth sandwich reads,
"Ze, do you realize that if so many people around the world are covering the earth in bread that it won't be a true sandwich but more like a corndog or pig-in-a-blanket? Or maybe a pita.

An excellent point, I thought.
