The Burger Century - apparently In'n'Out burger lets you order *any* number of patties on a burger. Well, 100 is a number. Hilarity ensues.
I would have challenged BenBuNate with this, but after seeing Natedogg struggle with the Big Boy at EZ's the other night...
On a related note, I encourage everyone to try the 'Barnyard Special' at Whataburger (my name, not their's): Order a cheeseburger, add a chicken patty and bacon.
Though now it reminds me of the Doublemeat Palace:
Doublemeat Palace training film: This cow (moo!) and this chicken (bawk!) don't know it yet, but they're destined to become part of it as well. So what happens when a cow and a chicken get together? Why, that's a doublemeat medley! Let's take a look now at the process of harvesting these two special meats. ( frantic barnyard sounds )
B: Holy crap!
Each In-N-Out Burger is 1/8 lb. and therefore 100 burgers is 12.5 lbs.
My Big Boy (free, by the way) was 1 lb. Therefore, to achieve the same poundage of meat and cheese you would have to order 12.5 Big Boys at a cost of $125. Clearly, they got the better value although the Big Boy purchaser would have gotten about 9 lbs of french fries to go with it.
For more fun, see the Supersized Meals blog. Not surprisingly the 100x100 is on the front page of the burger blog as well.
I'm going to assume that reid's assessment of In'N'Out's worth is based on the praise "Fast Food Nation" heaps on them, and not thanks to the Veggie Burger which is, in fact, lettuce, tomato, and 1000 Island dressing (onion by request) on a bun.

i wonder how the images of raw ones will arrest the sales for in-n-out (best burger chain in america, baby).
