Losing? Outcome won't affect playoffs? Need an ancient and amusing way to get an extra point? Send in Doug Flutie!
Doug Flutie is an american hero without parallel. I have subbed him in for his teams' starter in every single football game I've ever owned. Not once have I regretted it. Sure, Tom Brady has a 95% "passing" rating, but you can't quantify heart. And Flutie might as well be a heart and an arm attached to two feet.
The patriots' opponents would do well to avoid this one man defense destroyer.
