turns out, yes.

Holy nuts, did anyone read the comments on the Amazon page? I'm not sure if this is page has become another secret piece of internet hilarity (ala David "Hot Rock City is a particular favorite" Hasselhoff) or if it's for real. What a weird range of responses. Makes me want to travel on down to PCL. Let's see who gets the book first...

wow. those comments are crazy! also of relevant note: turns out that w. disney was hugely anti-union and also way into blacklisting communists. maybe this book goes through all of that in detailed detail also.

If you don't know about "Hot Shot City is particularly good," read the customer reviews of Looking For-Best of David Hasselhoff [IMPORT]. An example:

When it comes to this album, there's no need to get dressed in body paint and say "Sock it to me," because this album socks it to me without the body paint and me saying "Sock it to me!"
But redundant Rowan and Martin references aside, this reader urges you to just sample the wondrous musical world of David Hobbitcock. You will thrill to every angelic note that pours forth from his god-like mouth. As if from a cleft-chinned gravy boat, the songs he sings drench a melody with the thick, viscous sauce of his talent. Eardrums quiver in ecstasy as he honks and wheezes his way through 18 chart-topping hits. I am comfortable in my sexuality to declare that David Hamsterdance is truly a centaur of the pop world. He can ring my dingy anyday!
The song "Hot Shot City" is particularly good.

Actually, it's probably best if you start at the end of the reviews and work forward in time...

As a "London fashionista" I am often asked by my less glamorous friends; "I am suffused with ennui...tell me, where is the shock of the new in these cheap post-modern times?". I always grab them by both shoulders, stare into their eyes and say "Darling, you simply must hear 'Looking For-Best of David Hasselhoff [IMPORT]~ David Hasselhoff'- it is a document of our times, a sometimes sombre, sometimes disturbing, sometimes beautiful, but always magical trip through Hasselhoff's intellectual galaxy; a galxy where the constellations are musical ideas of such art- art! darling - and every shimmering glissando is a shooting star, shooting from Hasselhoff's incomparably couiffered mane into you heart, via your quivering pinna (ear, laymen). 'Looking For-Best of David Hasselhoff [IMPORT] ~ David Hasselhoff' is possibly the defining art work of the 20th and 21st centuries. Quite simply- to hear it is to hear God sigh."
Track 6 is particularly good.
