"Lowe wanted to teach at a small liberal
arts college but couldn�t find the right job.
Answering a job ad has led to a career in
industry that he says 'has worked out pretty
well.' He currently works for Bayer but goes
to great lengths to separate his dual identities
as a researcher and blogger."

If I had a dime for every time I heard the one about "wanting to teach at a small liberal arts college"...
