The Crackpot index John Baez is one of my favorite theoretical physicists, and now, I think he has made a very valid contribution to the literature. For anyone who likes to read crazy reformulations of physics as done by electrical engineers.
On a more serious note, I actually read this list in an issue of Skeptic a few years ago. I'm glad to see it is just as funny now as it was when I was an undergraduate.
are some of those direct knocks on string theory? Did anyone bother to add up what string theory earns on the scale?

This is ridiculous! Anyone that has read the Feynman Lectures KNOWS without a doubt he was a closet opponent of SR! Only a brownshirted stormtrooper would claim otherwise!
