The Underhanded C Contest - you've heard, of course, of the Obfuscated C and Obfuscated Perl contests. The Underhanded C contest is in many ways "the exact opposite of the Obfuscated C Code Contest: in this contest you must write code that is as readable, clear, innocent and straightforward as possible, and yet it must fail to perform at its apparent function. To be more specific, it should do something subtly evil."

Interesting post, but there's no code to see yet! To alleviate this I followed their link to the obfuscated V contest which was a contest to write the best program that secretly gives votes to Bush in the election. The winner only gave extra votes to bush on election day between 10:00 and 12:00 because the time variable wasn't large enough to fit the extra characters and overran the buffer. Otherwise it behaved normally....nice.
