Yeah, Minor Threat sucks. No one I know who is at all into punk owns a copy of their discography or considers it essential. And they weren't influential at all. In fact, harDCore music wasn't named for the city Minor Threat came from. Fucking Troll.
I own it, it was influential, and it sucks.
I know that makes me a punk rock/straight edge poser but I don't really care. And btw, that's not the only influential band I think sucks...

Why can't I diss a seminal album without being an idiot? I didn't say it wasn't revolutionary or that it wasn't a first of its kind, I said it sucked. Just because someone does something for the first time doesn't mean it's not gonna suck later on. The first wheels sucked, the first shoes sucked, the first telephones sucked, and so on. I like punk rock I just think that album sucked. I bet you think some music sucks too.

Oh I see now, dissing minor threat is dissing DC and that's why you were upset. Did you actually live in DC or a suburb of it because DC the city outside of all the monuments isn't all that spectacular. Maybe it's changed over the years but it used to be a real shithole with a high murder rate.
