Pranks in the battle between Science and Sociology of Science. Maybe you have heard of the Sokal Affair in which a physicist with a chip on his shoulder submitted an article to a Sociology of Science Journal that was rife with errors and bad/psuedo science. Guess what? naively, they published it. But do you know of the Bogdanoff Affair? In this, these brothers managed to get articles published in peer reviewed physics journals that might have been all bunk. Was it revenge from the "Soft Scientists"?
Also fun is that there are these blog entries from an expert in the field. None other than Jaques Distler! wack!
