Yet another instance where comics have kept me informed of recent events - today's Full Frontal Nerdity references a series of killings near Philadelphia in which one of the victims was linked to the killer by a group of D&D friends.
For those who don't want to read through the article, this is a good summary quote:
"They have many, many stab wounds. Those Dungeons & Dragons fantasy games involve swords, and knives and daggers. We are looking into whether that's part of it."
That link led to these chalkboard shenanigans, which totally rip off sG's animation from way back (anyone got a link)?
8-Bit D&D - What is the deal with people playing Dungeon & Dragons and drinking Mountain Dew?

At my basement round table, we used to get high on "the dew" and arm ourselves with butter knives and those little corn cob shaped corn-holders. (The bluntness of the butter knives made for good bruises to show off later to girls). Woe be to those who missed a saving throw +7 against my pin pricks!
To be clear, because I know you might be confused, I made that up.
