It seems the NY Times thought that the Minty and other Altoids tin related projects were neat and decided to write an article about it. Also mentioned was this guy and his Altoids tin invention, an iPod battery pack.
After scrolling through his posts, it's clear that he visits, or hears about, the same things people post here. The VW GTI commercial. Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. The Spongebob thing. Bill Gates's pinup. But then again I'm sure most post/blog type sites have similar content, so I'm not that surprised.
Hey, we've got a sweet ass search function AND a homepage icon that changes color OnMouseOver. Not just on the front page, but EVERY page.
Man, check out altoid guy's post about the article and photo shoot. If you've seen The Killing Fields it is an amazing read. And if you haven't seen The Killing Fields then why the hell not? It's an inspiring and lyrical story of human courage and frendship, and it stars Jack McCoy, Spalding Gray, and Haing S. Ngor (another worthy biography).
