For those that want to listen to songs from their favorite MP3 player or IPod over the radio, you can now get a stronger transmitter to do it. (from Slashdot.org)
Too bad sG is too lame to ever buy one of these... and then loose interest and sell it to me for $1.

That would be sweet! And then you could go mobile to avoid the FCC trucks that are trying to triangulate your location. Just like a young Christian Slater! Although I'm not sure that would mean that Samantha Mathis would remove her sweater and make out with you.
That's a great idea. I was just hoping to get popular enough that I'd get paid a visit by Adam Sandler in pantyhose headgear.
Also, you just knew that the Samantha Mathis scene described above was on the internets (NSFW, duh).
Hell, with 2W of power you could probably use a coat hanger for an antenna and still cover a good portion of your neighborhood.
One of the antennas I use on my radio at home is a TV antenna that I bought at a garage sale for a dollar. You could just do that. Or sG could, then sell it to me for $0.50....
The antenna that I use for my my television at home is the radio antenna that came from my stereo. My FM stereo antenna (which I don't much use at home) is a twisted pair of barely shielded wires that I lifted from my former lab.
Stunningly enough, I'm not so interested in creating Nadio as I would be in that DIY projector system. One project-I'll-never-do at a time.

You can get a version outside the US that is 2W! I'd love to run nate radio in my neighborhood (or at least my building) but I don't have an antenna on the roof...
