A funny thing happened to reid, mrbun, habcous and me on the way back from Dallas this weekend. mrbun was driving his newly-detailed Honda down I35E, minding his own business. Keep in mind that this was before the infamous "Two Peg" incident(*), so he wasn't feeling smug, but angry about how much Dallas sucks.... [more inside]

We were talking a little bit last night about the microclimate in the bay area and yesterday's heat wave was a perfect example. It was 87 degrees in San Francisco yesterday while just about 30-40 miles away in Livermore across the bay it was a balmy 115 degrees out. Crazy...
